The Evolution of Neuro-Training (oppdatert mars 2007)

The use and implementation of the principles of recuperation, the development of innate competence and the challenge of developing congruence is what Neuro Training is moving toward.

The universal laws of recuperation, their principles and practice are woven into Neuro-Training. Throughout the evolution of what has become Neuro Training today, there has always been a focus on training people to use their strengths and their resources to move beyond their current limiting metaphor in life.


For more than two decades Neuro-Training, has believed that teaching techniques was only part of the picture. Our important tool, the change of muscle response, simply tells us to notice something to explore further. It does not tell us who you are, why you have challenges or symptoms, or what is maintaining your inability to recuperate.  
The understanding that symptoms are from the inability to express your true nature, to expand and evolve, and that symptoms are simply pointers to a particular contextual conflict is major awareness we use in Neuro Training.

In our introductory workshop, The Art of Solution Oriented Neuro-Training (ASONT), (previously known as The Beginning of Understanding Kinesiology) we apply a working model based on solution oriented results. We teach the new learner to not focus on problems, but instead to find what someone needs to recuperate to express the resources that have been deeply suppressed by life challenges. For example, some of the material explored in ASONT is the context of 'Positive Future', the context of 'Solution Orientation' and the context of 'Suppressed Expression'. Linking these contexts with the anchoring effect of muscle monitoring itself leads to a powerful responses in people.
Resources and new options are built within your neurology and solutions to your individual conflicts become as natural as breathing.  You become your own solution.

This is a very powerful way of re-directing yourself from focusing on your problems toward what you want. Focusing on what you want is one of life's secrets. Neuro-Training builds resources and better options so that you can implement your resources in the best way using complete 'neuro systems'.

It is our basic right as human beings to express the true nature of the Self, free of the conditioning that comes from our experiences and of our inherited or genetic behaviours and beliefs. Symptoms are a form of expression that are simply pointers to a problem that exists somewhere. Focusing on the problems and fixing the symptoms is not enough. Inappropriate techniques can create suppressions and the real problem is pushed deeper into the nervous system.

Neuro-Training teaches to work with your philosophy as a 'person', how you have lived, how well you are able to recuperate from your conditioning, work with your potential and your expression of your true self. Neuro-Training continues with this philosophy of re-training your nervous system to function as it was designed to do. To deal effortlessly with conflicts, contexts, patterns, ideals and aspirations.

The continual research and development philosophy of Neuro-Training is knowing,
understanding and using your genetic references and genetic resources, observing the influence of these on your life and how you express who you are in this world through family, society and the universal laws.
This is the artistry of Neuro-Training, allowing true self-expression. Neuro-Training builds on your strengths, adding more value both neurologically and consciously and lays a solid foundation for further growth. It is not up to the Neuro-Trainer to change the individual, to fix anything or take anything away, rather it is our responsibility to provide options, the best possible options (as opposed to any
option) for you to continue to evolve and develop in the best way possible.

Over many years, we have been evolving from the old technique driven and problem
focused approach, to building and transforming the applications of those techniques into a person based and solution focused neurological training.  From the moment you are born you are training your nervous system, your abilities, not only things like how to walk, but also how to use your innate intelligences, your inherited resources, and your natural recuperation abilities. Neuro-Training can train people to access their natural abilities.

Neuro-Training now represents the transformation that we have been going through for many years.  Our plans include a Registered Training Organisation (RTO in Australia) offering a Certificate in Neuro-Training, (incorporating a Certificate IV in Kinesiology in Australia).  Our workshops have a clear purpose. There are new terms and understandings as well as changes of naming, certificates and with RTO certification.

We still do what we have always done; train the nervous system to function better, naturally.We have gone from educating people to the alternatives to living the better alternative - Neuro-Training.

EDUCATING ALTERNATIVES (2005)

A series of Kinesiology Training Workshops researched and created by Andrew Verity ND, DI, DH.

Educating Alternatives is an innovative, solution oriented working model for educating people to better alternatives. Educating Alternatives is the teaching arm of Advanced Kinesiology Centres, AKC. It is founded upon the vision that we have entered an era of global awareness, cooperation and unity in which Kinesiology plays an integral part.

It is responsible for on-going research and presentation of original information into workshop formats for the Kinesiology Practitioner. To help set a new standard of excellence in educational and health alternatives and further the development of the application of those alternatives.

Educating Alternatives is committed to the expansion of Kinesiology through the expression of individual potentialand its purpose is to explore and understand the Laws of Natural Healing.
 
To better understand that healing is an inherent part of our genetic makeup, and that our genetic resources help us to find more appropriate solutions for the mental conflicts, emotional traumas and physical stressors that make extraordinary demands on our energy systems.

“The Universal Healing Model”
developed by Andrew Verity of Educating Alternatives, is the first truly universal working model for Kinesiology. It gives us the fundamental understanding of how a person expresses their individual experiences of life and living.

The Universal Healing Model has exposed the nature of the suppression of our innate expression as the underlying cause of so many distresses in life. The fears, conflicting beliefs and unsupportive habits that block our true self expression.

The “Universal Healing Model” was developed from 21 years research into the use of Kinesiology in combination with Naturopathic and Homeopathic Laws of Healing. The result is a unifying model using ALL forms of Kinesiology.
 
It moves the focus back to muscle monitoring itself as the common tool for Kinesiologists and is helping Kinesiology to be considered by others as a professional modality.
 
Educating Alternatives is proud of this achievement and is delighted to invite you to become aware of the significance of what will become the basis for the unification of all Kinesiologies as a single profession in the near future.

As a result of this research, Educating Alternatives has now developed 18 Kinesiology workshops as well as specific Teacher Training Programs. These additional programs for Professional Presenters show how to teach the individual Educating Alternatives Workshops in the most effective way for understanding and learning. This helps the practitioners and clients alike to increase the quality and expression of their own individual Spirit.

We have Professional Presenters of EA’s programs in Europe, South Africa and Australia. One important factor in its growth has been the development of the Universal Healing Model that is introduced and explored in the workshop “Healing Principles”. This builds and expands on the information taught in “The Beginning of Understanding Kinesiology”, the basic tools, the nature of adaption and defence, and why it is important to find the right context in which the problem was created to achieve a lasting and effective solution.

Healing is a natural part of our genetic makeup. We don't think of it consciously, we can't improve on it, and we can't give it away. As a part of our unconscious response to the damage we do to ourselves on a daily basis, our ability to heal plays its role according to the many Laws of Nature.
 
Healing Principles is an exploration into the awareness of these laws and how to position ourselves to take full advantage of them. In our conscious effort to do the best we can in life, having a clear understanding of the principles of healing and following them, we can use these to assist us to increase the quality of our life.

Educating Alternatives supports continuing research through the observation of human behaviour.
 
There have been, and still are, many pioneers of the research into the effects of the principles of healing, yet the effort put into the healing arts could never be covered fully by a thousand texts. From ancient times, Aristotle, Paracelsus and other greats have influenced the development of healing through their powers of observation. So as we take a common sense look at the function of human behaviour we see how it reflects the nature of the laws that govern our health and healing.

Following the greats that have influenced our contemporary approach to healing and the latest influence as a healing modality is the growth of Advanced Kinesiology. These workshops are a part of the research done at the Advanced Kinesiology Centre where Advanced Kinesiology by Andrew Verity has become theumbrella for the research into combining naturopathic modalities with Kinesiology. This work will continue to help us to unravel the mysteries of how we really function.

Educating Alternatives has two distinctly different approaches to teaching its material. A formal diploma in Health in Kinesiology and a more flexible (although still structured) set of courses for anyone who is interested in learning the information for themselves or family and friends.

In this publication we are discussing the three levels of Kinesiology Training as follows - the Solution Oriented Kinesiology Certificate, the Advanced Kinesiology Professional Certificate 1, and then the Advanced Kinesiology Professional Certificate 2.

• Solution Oriented Kinesiology Certificate
By completing BUK, HP, IN INT, BP1 & ‘Integration’ found on the first level of training.

• Advanced Kinesiology Professional Certificate 1
By completing the workshops found on the second level of training.

• Advanced Kinesiology Professional Certificate 2
By completing the workshops found on the third level of training.

These workshops are recognised by the AKA, Australian Kinesiology Association, and Educating Alternatives. They may lead to prior learning credits towards the formal Diploma of Kinesiology when it is released. For further information about this diploma, contact the EA Head Office.


 

INTEGRATION
Incorporating S.O.K.

After having achieved the basic understanding from BUK, In Int, HP and BP1, now comes the ‘putting it all together’ process. This is primarily a reinforcement and application of the SOK Process.

To do this we will need to learn some new information and most importantly, apply the Process in a every day need context. Learning how to apply these techniques and concepts is crucial to a strong basis for the use of any Kinesiology practice.

Applications will include dealing with:

• Dichotomy
• Expanded Elemental Support References
• Emotional Acupoints
• New references for meridians
• Integration Techniques

As well as approaches for dealing with the most influential contexts such as:

• Relationship Consequences
• Unfinished Business • Assumptions
• Acquired Behaviours • Influence

As well as a reinforcement of the SOK Process. This level of training will give anyone wanting to be effective with friends family and clients, the tools to be even more proficient with the SOK Process.

Involved with Kinesiology for 26 years, Andrew started with Applied Kinesiology and has Diplomas in Naturopathy, Homeopathy and Iridology. He is the founder and Director of the Advanced Kinesiology Centre - Educating Alternatives. Andrew initiated the development of IASK in Australia and has been President of IASK International and Applied Physiology, and he currently heads the Accreditation Board for IASK.

Andrew’s aim for Specialized Kinesiology is the acceptance of all Kinesiologies as being important to the development of Kinesiology generally, and that Specialized Kinesiology becomes recognised as a profession with professional standards. His research has lead to much original integration of other modalities into Kinesiology.
